I have never been the best at discussing things like this but I've wanted to say something about this for a while though it isn't a simple topic to touch on.
On DA i have seen and meet with many artist, and in the small time ive been on here i have witnessed many of their ups and downs and i know this site isn't to helpful to most artists that aren't well known or haven't been on the site for a long time, me also being part of that majority, and it panes me to see so many nice and good artist snuffed out because of that and because they start to feel like they cant do something great with what they can do. Art is about persistence and always looking for something new to create and looking at how you want to improve.
I know with so many "popular" artists its hard to see what you can offer to others, and at some points its hard not to compare ones own art to anothers but its best to believe in your art over anyone else's opinion because your art is "your art" and no one else's . Art is about self expression, what do you want to show others, what do you want them to see about you so they can understand who you are? Allot of people experiment with their art style, its how one improves not just artistically but also as a person, it helps you find out more of who you are and what you want to make, it shows others your creative mind. Even if your experiment doesn't succeed the first time that doesn't mean you have to stop, as long as its something you really want to do you should keep at it and others will soon see that its something you are passionate about and will come to admire that passion and show interest.
When it comes to art If you constantly try to make art to please others it starts to bring you down by wanting to fill others expectations. As i said, art is an expression of your self so make what you want to make, no mater what others think, show the world what you can do, and then some! Show what your type of artistic vision can produce to create something only you can create!
There will always be someone that wants to see what you can create and how you improve on your self. They want to see you grow and improve whether you know it or not.
On my page my personal quote is "I WANT TO MAKE SOMETHING AMAZING!" and that is still something i want to accomplish and that's what motivates me.

So its been well over a year since I've made a full art for this page, with how things have been for me since early last year it's been tough on my end and I probably know its been the same for allot of people this past year. With the whole of everything personal I've just really been unable to find any sort of energy for creativity an currently dont really know how I feel about it anymore but I think there is a part of me that still wants to try and put stuff out there for the world. So for the time being I'm still struggling a bit but I still also be trying and I hope other are doing their best to do the same.

So i try to give updates for the times I'm a bit absent but this one I've been struggling to post for the past few days. I've talked slightly before about my loss of energy and stress as to why I've slowed down with my production of artwork. At this point I think I should explain one of the main reason that brought some of that on. For the past few years my father had been battling with cancer that even resulted in him having a brain tumor and I out of my other siblings (me being the youngest) was solely the one that's been taking care of him these past years so it's made things a struggle when I was constantly worrying about him. DA Eclipse: Thoughts and Small Guide
So DA has now released what i assume to be the current beta of Eclipse, in all i find it pretty cool. So allot have voiced their thoughts and opinions so i will as well along with a bit of explaining to help others that are supposedly finding it confusing to navigate.
To start, when looking at the overall design i like that they are going with the more modern look which seems like they are trying to improve upon what they did with the mobile app (still wish they'd start paying attention to it again) which i think is a good direction when comparing it to most other art sites. So as I've said in my First art piece of this year featuring my new main style- is that its made up of all the different small things i have tried in many different art pieces in the past all mixed together to make something new. So i'm making this journal as a way to show the process, the art history, and inspirations that went into making the "Shock N' Blaze" Art-style.

if i had to be specific...ish??
i'd say, i want to create something that's fairly relatable. something people can connect to. so it's like, i have a link to people who see my stuff!! i wish it could give them the opportunity to see the good in their life, or to realize that one problem isn't as big as they think it is. basically, i want to create the comfort for people.
